Omur Payne BSc (Hons) MRICS – DirectorOmur’s specialist field is commercial property. She has many years professional experience in the commercial property market as an asset manager including lettings, sales, investment, agency, rent reviews, lease renewals, service charge management, litigation and has an in-depth knowledge of property law.
Omur has a BSc (Hons) degree in Estate Management from Reading University and is a member of RICS. She also has an RICS approved Legal Experience Training Advanced Professional Award in Expert Witness Evidence.
Tim Bell BSc MRICS – Director
Tim entered the surveying profession through a degree in Wales and training with the Property Services Agency in Manchester, London and Liverpool. His depth of experience with West End office rent reviews allowed a smooth transition to RICS qualification and following a period with Edward Erdman Tim joined Black Horse Surveying Services in Whetstone.
Tim, Omur and many current colleagues of Day and Bell moved onwards through different company ownership but the loyal clients stayed with these incarnations and remain with Day and Bell today.
Andrew Cooper BSc (Hons) MRICS – Associate Director
Andrew has been a Chartered Surveyor since 1999 and has extensive commercial property experience in private practice and also client side estates surveyor roles at retailers First Quench Retailing and Sally Salon Services.
Andrew joined Day and Bell in 2011 and is closely involved with all commercial property management and landlord & tenant matters.
Oliver Billson BSc (Hons) MRICS – Chartered Surveyor
In 2010 Oliver gained his BSc (Hons) in Property Management & Investment from the University of the West of England. He joined Day and Bell in November 2015 and has recently qualified as a Chartered Surveyor. He has experience in sales, letting, landlord and tenant, and valuation.
Oliver is a keen sportsman, and completed the Ironman Triathlon in Wales in 2016.
Davin Lee – Associate Director
Davin is the consultant for the property management accounts department. He relishes bank reconciliation and complex accounting problems, comfortably getting to grips with opening balances on new service charge instructions. Davin’s expert knowledge of Qube software has ensured seamless accounting support for our clients’ property portfolios. Davin has worked in the property industry for the past 17 years, initially in the Chesterton accounting department. His next job was to implement ECS (Qube) and with that experience went on to become the Database Manager at Workspace Group, leading on to becoming a consultant for Qube before joining Day and Bell.
Tim Bye - Property Manager
With property in his blood, Tim Bye started as a Saturday Office Assistant at the Whetstone Branch of Sturt & Tivendale, in the Residential Sales Division in 1984. In September 1986 he progressed to a permanent role in the Residential & Commercial Property Management Division. After many office relocations and name changes: Black Horse Agencies, Stimpsons, BBG Surveyors, Douglas Duff and Jordan’s Rentals, Tim, along with his loyal clients of many years, has now landed in North Finchley with Day & Bell, specialising in Residential Property Asset Management.
Eric Flanders ACCA – Head of Property Management Accounts
Eric has worked in the property management accounting world for many years with companies such as Cluttons, Haywards Property Services and Farleys. He has mainly focused on service charge accounting which provides the ideal foundation to oversee Day and Bell’s property accounting email@example.com
Kit Rabbette, MRICS - Rating Consultant
Kit specialises in Landlord & Tenant disputes (rent reviews, lease renewals, etc.), minimising Business Rates liability and Valuations.
Kit started his career in DTZ's National Rating Team, and later moved on to Cushman & Wakefield's Landlord & Tenant department. As part of this role, Kit managed the L&T account for Vodafone UK. Kit is a professional member of the RICS, a Registered Valuer and an affiliate member of the Rating Surveyor’s Association. Outside of work Kit is a keen mountaineer, skier and classical guitarist.
John Ardern - Property Management Consultant
John studied civil engineering at Aston University before moving into Quantity surveying abroad and in the UK. For 20 years John has worked within the building industry around London as a project manager on residential renovations. He is also a technical advisor for all building related issues including heating, plumbing, and drainage.
John's interests include racquet sports and skiing.
